NMCC Motocross, Crick

MotocrossThe Northampton motorcycle club finally managed to host a race, this time at Crick near J18 of the M1. This summer's weather has been so poor, at least one event had to be cancelled - this time, it was ideal.

Wakeboarding

photoAttended the European Cable Wakeboard Tour today as it visited Willen Lake in Milton Keynes for three days. Managed to get some decent shots despite the sun not wanting to stay out for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Click the image to visit the gallery.

Sadly the OU Vets were beaten by Kingfisher Titans in their cup final this afternoon. But overall they did have a very good season, finishing second in their league.

OU Reserves today beat Impressions 2-1 to win the Knockout Cup final, making it a double as they also won Division 2 of the MKSL.

OU Reserves did very well to beat Loughton Reserves 4-1 in their Supplementary Cup game today. Lougton's keeper, at least until the end of regular time, had a cracking game. I have switched back to my Canon 1D as Fixation's service on my 1D Mk.IIn hasn't helped a jot. Click the thumbnail for a full gallery.

Congratulations to the Open University cricket team on earning promotion to Division 2 in a very hard-fought end-of-season match against Shenley Church End today.
