NMCC Motocross, Crick

The Northampton motorcycle club finally managed to host a race, this time at Crick near J18 of the M1. This summer's weather has been so poor, at least one event had to be cancelled - this time, it was ideal.

Motocross in the sun

Sunday's Hare and Hounds motocross, hosted by the Northampton Motocycle Club at Wood End near Towcester went very well: good turn out and nice weather too. Pity the wives and GFs of the riders, though, given the amount of cow muck that seemed to be everywhere!

...and went on to cover a Northampton Motocycle Club enduro event at Whaddon in the afternoon.

The Berkhamptstead trials club held their annual 'Frostbite Trial' today in the woods near Great Brickhill - although,as at Blisworth, there wasn't any frost - the weather was very mild. Good turnout. Full gallery - click the thumbnail to see it.

The 82nd Wild and Woolly (the longest-runnings motocross event in the world) went very well today, with a massive attendance probably due to the mild weather. Click the thumbnail to see a complete gallery.

The torrential rain we had on Sunday did at least wait until the end of Northampton club's enduro event at Barn Farm, Whaddon near Milton Keynes.
